Lactobact LDL-CONTROL is a clinically tested, high-quality probiotic. If taken regularly, it can help to naturally lower high cholesterol levels and is very well tolerated. The probiotic bacterial strain Lactobacillus plantarum LPLDL contained in it can intervene in the body's natural cholesterol cycle. Cholesterol is the most important building block for the formation of our bile acids. These are formed in the liver and secreted via the gallbladder into the small intestine, where they help to utilize our dietary fats. As they continue through the small intestine, the bile acids are reabsorbed into the body's own circulation and transported back to the liver. The probiotic bacterial strain Lactobacillus plantarum LDLDL® can reduce this recovery of bile acids. As a result, the liver removes the building block cholesterol from our blood in order to form new bile acids and the cholesterol content in the blood drops. The enteric-coated capsules of Lactobact LDL-CONTROL protect the probiotic bacteria from stomach acid.
