Interview with Managing Director Sandra Lüngen
How the visions of the family-run business culminated in the new brand identity. In an interview, Sandra Lüngen explains the paths and forward-looking ideas HLH BioPharma is implementing with its highly motivated team.
Ms. Lüngen, you took over the company from your father-in-law in 2014 and are now leading it into the future. What prompted you to take this step?
We were at a crossroads at the time. It was clear to me that I wanted to continue my father-in-law's vision. We had groundbreaking ideas and great concepts in the pipeline, plus a fantastic team – the best prerequisites for a successful future.
The acquisition also brought some changes to the company. Could you explain these briefly and give us some insight into what they entail?
In addition to introducing a field sales team to advise and train our customers, we have expanded our product range with innovative products and introduced new, future-oriented dosage forms, such as biologically active chewable tablets.
The changes affected not only economic factors, but also the company's design. What's this all about?
Creating a fresh new look was very important to us. We're a young, modern team, and we wanted to reflect that in our product designs. The feedback we've received has been consistently positive.
Finally, what do you wish for the future and for the company, and what is important to you personally?
I think that's what our employees also want: a successful company with healthy, motivated employees.
What is particularly important to me is to create a bridge between naturopathy and conventional medicine and thus combine the best of both fields.
